Hello! I am an Associate Professor at Cal Poly Pomona (CPP) in the greater Los Angeles area. I joined CPP in 2016 after finishing my PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan Flagler Business School. My research focuses on vulnerable consumers, and the market and policy forces that impact them. During the 2024-25 academic year, I will be a Visiting Faculty at the Asia School of Business in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, through a Fulbright US Scholar Award.
Outside of work, I spend most of my time wrangling two tiny humans with my partner and finding excuses to expand my craft stash.

- Excited to announce that I will be a co-chair for the 2025 Transformative Consumer Research Conference in Washington, D.C.
- August 2024 - Research featured as an invited post on the Australian Digital Child blog.
- June 2024 - Presenting at the Marketing and Public Policy Conference in Washington, DC.
- May 2024 - Officially obtained tenure and promotion to Associate Professor at CPP.
- April 2024 - Awarded the Fulbright US Scholar Award to research in Malaysia during AY 2024-25.
