I have over fifteen years of experience developing classes and teaching students: from undergraduate to MBA, in person to asynchronous, and everything in between. I've received multiple teaching and student mentorship awards, twice including Cal Poly Pomona's university-wide Teacher-Scholar Award. In addition, I regularly attend trainings and certifications to keep up on new advancements in higher education pedagogy.

I also co-created and co-taught CPU 1540, which tackles the ever-evolving world of media literacy -- such as misinformation, conspiracy, urban legend, AI slop, and polarization. This is a pop-up class sponsored by the CPP Innovation Incubator. This freshman seminar is taught every 2-3 years, bringing together three faculty from different academic backgrounds to provide complementary views on the same subject. It is significantly updated each time it is offered to represent the most up-to-date developments on the core topics.
